Receipt Art: May 22, 2011

This receipt art is pretty self-explanatory.  Having a table with a father and his little boy, I figured a fire breathing dragon would go over pretty well.  I was also planning to add a knight or something to slay the dragon, but I clearly ran out of room.  So now that poor tower is totally undefended.  My bad.

Now if only I hadn't given that rather cute dragon such a horrible tail.

  1. Yeah, the tail is sort of weird. Reminds me a little of a squirrel. Maybe it's a squigon? Sorry, it's been a long day.

  2. Oh Anonymous, I love when you point out my petty grammatical errors! After all, this is a very serious blog and no one ever makes mistakes but me. On my very serious blog.

  3. if Anon is such a smarty pants how did he miss the word night - it should be "knight".

And I knew what you meant and that you were just rushing off a post - which we all appreciate - love receipt art days! I wasn't going to say anything, because, really - it doesn't matter in the scheme of things.

It is always cool how you get the total outlined with the pic'. Very neat.

  4. See, SkippyMom knows the way to go about things. How refreshing ;)

And you pegged it right, very quick post which I obviously didn't proofread. If only I had an editor!

  5. I was just joking around... I didn't mean to offend anyone.

  6. Oh I certainly wasn't offended. Just offering reason for my glaring errors as well as pointing out the most grammatical/spelling commenters aren't so nice and aren't joking. Now I hope I didn't offend you!

  8. LOVE this receipt art! :) Can I steal the dragon design?! I adore it! I drew various species of sharks all over my customer's receipts today. (Including a hammerhead holding a beach ball! How is that for weird?! Haha!)
